Try tickling their feet and they will burst into laughter. If they are busy watching their favourite programme on television, lie down to their level and try tickling them . I am sure you both will have a good laugh together
Sneeze loudly and unexpectedly , That is surely going to make them laugh..
silly walk..silly jump. turn into a waddling, make cat’s or dog’s sound for a few minutes.
As you are getting them dressed or undressed take a bit of time to put things on wrongly - put the socks on their hands, or their ear - or your hands or their jumper on your arm. Then pretend that you don’t know where to put ask them to help you out etc…
Try doing things that are out of the ordinary..
Grab some paper and a pencil tell them you are going to draw a face and ask them to see if they can make the face themselves - do a smile, a cross face, a crooked mouth, then draw a fish, or a cat
If they are at the stage of playing the game of ‘where’s your nose?’ have a go at that but mess it up a bit…things like ‘where’s your nose- and when they point say no, that’s your tummy! I’m sure that’s your tummy! Sure it’s your nose? - so is this your tummy? - and point to their mouth…
and of course peek..a ..boo/hide and seek ,try interesting hiding places ..
